Just found out you've a blog, loved your post! The first step to overcome fears are to aknowledge them which you, obviously, just did so well. Love your honnesty. Also, it's very obvious that you like to be in control, so I'd say: go ahead and take control of your own life, fear is indeed irational but it doesn't need to control you ;-) Easier said then done, of course; well, no one said it was easy, simple maybe but not easy.
